Admission Requirements

The Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy is committed to enrolling students who exhibit a potential to become professional massage therapists. Applicants must possess good communication skills, competency in the occupational environment of massage therapy, maturity, integrity, and must demonstrate a commitment to learning massage therapy.

CIMT evaluates applicants without discrimination in regards to age, gender, race, national origin, religion, creed,or sexual orientation. Each applicant must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• A high-school diploma or equivalent is recommended
• Applicants must be in good health and physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing massage therapy as well as the classroom participation requirements and expectations of students.
