850 Hour Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy Certification Program
Tuition: $10,500.00
Completion Time: Approximately 11 1/2 months
If you want the greatest amount of preparation, confidence and career opportunity, our Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy Certification Program combines neuromuscular and trigger point release therapies, includes the International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapy (IANMT) certification, and is widely respected among the health care community.
Most CIMT students enroll in this program, which can be completed in approximately eleven and one half months. Advanced graduates often explore the option of working in healthcare settings including: doctor's offices, physical therapy clinics, hospitals, chiropractic offices, and naturopathic clinics.
As part of the training program, students are required to complete a portion of their requirements outside of class. This prepares the student for private practice of massage therapy by structuring a diversity of practice sessions and professional contact with the public. The clinical lab hours requirements consist of:
- 10 seated massages
- 81 full body massages (of which two are charting)
- 10 community service massages
- 6 preceptor evaluation massages
- 7 sport event hours
- 7 marketing event hours
- Record keeping on each massage

550 Essential Massage Therapy Certification Program
Tuition: $7,900.00
Completion Time: Approximately 8 1/2 months
If your priority is becoming a massage therapist as quickly and affordably as possible, our Essential Massage Therapy Certification Program can be completed in approximately eight and one half months, and provides solid preparation for the 500-hour minimum requirement for Colorado licensure. This program is a good starting point for students looking for entry level massage therapy positions in non-medical settings, including fitness centers, spas, resorts and massage franchises.
Because more knowledge makes one more confident and competitive, and therapists offering more modalities enjoy more employment and clientele opportunities, many graduates of this program go on to complete the Advanced Neuromuscular Massage Therapy Certification Program, subsequent to becoming licensed and beginning their massage careers.
“The vast majority of massage therapists (91 percent) have taken continuing education classes.”
