About Us
CIMT is owned and operated by working massage therapists. Our students receive the benefit of more than 25 staff and faculty members. Many professions represented on our staff are: a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist, Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, Massage Therapists, a Rolfer, Certified Fitness Therapist, Certified Personal Trainer, as well as as Exercise Physiologist and Sports Medicine Bodyworker. The diversity amongst these instructors offer our students a variety of techniques, experiences and business models that promotes a thorough education and professional success. CIMT has a nearly 95% first time pass rate for those sitting for the National Certification exam (NCBTMB).
Our graduates are sought after by chiropractic clinics, wellness centers, day spas and various other massage therapy employers. The CIMT International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapies certification program is one of only nine programs in the United States offered within a massage therapy school. CIMT also offers our students the opportunity to provide on-site massage therapy in a major hospital system. Our relationship with the Penrose St. Francis hospital system is in its second decade and continues to be a model for future hospital based massage therapy programs.
